I have only been here in South Miami/West Kendall for about half a year but discovering new places is my thing! Below are my top 7 places so far. As always, feel free to share any places you love that I haven't mentioned yet! I am always looking for fun, new interesting experiences for the whole family!
1. TRAMPOLINE HIGH
12395 SW 130th St Suite #111,
Miami, FL 33186The address
We discovered this funtastic place at a birthday party for one of my daughters friends! It is family owned and well managed! The staff is great and very accommodating. Don't let the outside fool you, it is all fun and exciting inside! My daughter didn't want to leave and we are definitely going back! Check their site for hours and pricing as they vary. https://www.trampolinehigh.com/
2. Chikitown
8838 SW 129th Terrace, Miami, FL 33176, USA
786.581.9701
There is a special place in my heart for this indoor play space. I discovered this place pre-covid when I used to come down from LA to visit family. During the week, while most of my family worked, I needed something to do with my little ones and Chikitown was it! The owner is a momma herself and knows whats up! She is truly a sweetheart and runs Chikitown with so much love. Somethings have changed since covid, like you have to reserve play time ahead of time but its still so worth it! A small place, with mighty awesomeness inside. I chose to do my sons 3rd birthday there this May and he had a blast! https://www.chikitown.com/

3. Zoological Wildlife foundation
16225 Sw 172nd Avenue Miami, FL 33187
(305) 969-3696
Ok so I haven't been to this one but it's on my summer bucket list! The Zoo is awesome but this place lets you get up close and personal. If you are an animal lover it is a must! Visitors can take a tour of Zoological Wildlife Foundation, and have their photo taken with a white lion or Bengal tiger and here is your chance to have 1 on 1 time with many different types of exotic animals! A little pricey but so worth it! https://zoologicalwildlifefoundation.com/
4. Venetian Pool
2701 De Soto Blvd, Coral Gables, FL 33134
This one is not quite in Kendall but so worth the 20ish min. drive to Coral Gables and a summer must! There is none other like the Venetian pool, you literally feel like you are in Italy and the pool is natural spring water with many life guards on duty, a cave that has a cenote feel to it once inside, a waterfall, a beach area with sand and a cafe when all that swimming and exploring makes you hungry! They even have a super safe kiddy section that is 2 feet only. We just celebrated my daughters 7th birthday there and it was a sensation! They have a 3 year and up only strict rule. https://www.coralgables.com/departments/CommunityRecreation/venetianpool

5. The Berry Farm
13720 SW 216th St, Miami, FL 33170
This place is the cutest chic farm I have ever been too! They have so many fun activities for the kids and the food and beverage options are fantastic! If you are up to it you can even pick your own strawberries and seasonal veggies and sunflowers. Check their site as I believe they close during their off season. You don't want to miss this very cool experience for the family! https://www.visittheberryfarm.com/
6. Monkey Jungle
14805 SW 216th St Miami, FL 33170
(305) 235-1611
I haven't been here in years but I know that it is a cool experience, especially if you like Monkeys If you have ever wanted to spend your day and get up close and personal with primates, here is your chance! monkeyjungle.com
7. Fairchild Tropical Garden
10901 Old Cutler Rd, Coral Gables, FL 33156
This one is also in Coral Gables but well worth the drive. I love it so much, I am a member! It is a beautiful garden but don't let that fool you, it is 23 acres and you can get lost for the day! Once there, be sure not to miss out on wings of the tropics - a spectacular exotic butterfly exhibit like no other. There is always something for the whole family to enjoy. The garden even lets you picnic there! They have all kinds of amazing classes offered throughout the year at an additional cost per class. https://fairchildgarden.org/
