Santa Claus is still coming to town this year, and he’s visiting the Deering Estate! Visiting Santa is an important family tradition, so we are providing a creative solution to keep everyone safe. Mr. Claus will be positioned at a safe distance in the Great Hall so guests can purchase photos with Santa. Guests can also enjoy family-friendly holiday-themed storytimes featuring holly jolly stories, songs and activities presented by the Miami-Dade Public Library System. Geared for ages 3–8 years, but everyone will have a merry time listening to heartwarming winter tales! Guests can also enjoy a reading of “Christmas Cookie Day” by author Tara Knudson. Readers of all ages will love the sweet rhymes and colorful illustrations that remind us all of the tradition of baking cookies and giving them as gifts during the holiday season.
$15 for adults and $7 for children (ages 4-14). Non-Members can choose their General Admission tickets online here (choose December 11) or can purchase at the Main Gate Ticket Booth the morning of the event. Photo sitting & photo packages available for an additional fee onsite.
